Chapter 33
D-day
The morning sun shone brightly over the RAF base in Stanford as General Cox ushered his team towards the waiting group of navy seals. Lieutenant Jane and Jodie walked confidently, their faces set in determination and their bodies ready for the mission ahead.
The fifteen navy seals, all burly and battle-hardened, had been handpicked for this operation. They watched the two women with curiosity and awe, their eyes trailing over their curves and flawless features. It was not often that they saw women on their team, much less women as beautiful as Jane and Jodie.
As they boarded the unused XB-15 bomber, the aircraft of choice due to it having no computer navigation and would be immune to the EMP blast, the navy seals couldn't help but stare at the two women. They were mesmerized by their grace and strength, wondering how such seemingly vulnerable females could handle such a dangerous operation.
But what the navy seals didn't know was that Jane and Jodie were not just beautiful, but skilled killers. They had been trained by the best of the best and had proven themselves time and again, and lieutenant Jane had been on secret missions across the apocalyptic world.
But Jane and Jodie kept their composure, looking tough and giving off an air of confidence. And that's how they wanted it to be, their true killer potential remaining a secret.
As the plane took them to their destination, General Cox briefed the team on their mission. They were to land at Pearl Harbour later that day for a refueling stop as part of a secret training exercise. The general had also arranged for a small military vessel to be waiting for them, which they would use to extract the surviving team members.
The navy seals were impressed by the level of secrecy and planning that had gone into this mission. And as they watched Jane and Jodie strategize and lead the team, they couldn't help but feel a sense of respect for these seemingly fragile women.
The journey to their destination was long and tense. Everyone on board was focused and prepared for what lay ahead. Jane and Jodie engaged in a conversation with the navy seals, trying to ease the tension and form a sense of camaraderie.
Hours later, they landed at Pearl Harbour and quickly refuelled before setting off towards their final destination.
The team set off under the cover of darkness, their faces obscured by masks and their movements swift and calculated. They were a highly trained group of soldiers with a specific mission in mind - to take down Sky-Sex, a dangerous AI that threatened world peace. The nerves were kicking in, the tension in the air was thick.
General Cox, addressed them, speaking loudly over the roaring engines. 'The plan is simple,' he said. 'We'll hit the island with an EMP blast, parachute down onto the island, kill any hostile threats, enter the facility and destroy Sky-Sex with C-4. We have a strict timeline of fifteen minutes, twenty minutes maximum.'
The team nodded in understanding, and were ready for whatever challenges lay ahead. As the plane flew over the island, they could see the lights from Sky-Sex's facility in the distance. They readied themselves for the jump, adrenaline coursing through their veins.
The team watches in amazement as the EMP blast engulfs the island.
